In a move that will gladden the hearts of early holographers who envisaged the use of holograms as a means to record and safely display objects d 'arts and antiquities, the Greek government has launched a Call for Proposals to make holograms of some of its archaeological treasures for touristic use.
It appears that - among other possible uses - the intention is to make holograms which can then be toured so that people across the country - and further afield - can see these objectswithout subjecting them to the dangers inherent in travelling exhibitions .......
